Prior to PKF, Lynn Shimono was with the Honolulu office of Grant Thornton for over 20 years.  Lynn’s experience in accounting and auditing includes assignments covering financial audits of not-for-profit organizations, real estate developers, construction contractors, wholesalers and retailers, hotels and restaurants, manufacturing companies, employee benefit plans, and governmental agencies.

Lynn received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  She is a business team chair for Aloha United Way and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants.
